I am proud to say that Trent has been pleasantly surprised with how much “manlier” Jack’s nursery turned out to be than he originally anticipated. Not sure what he was expecting, but I avoided lace, frills and Anthropologie all together and I’m happy with how it turned out too. I was even able to sneak in a little “salmon” color, and Trent got to sneak in his 1930’s vintage parlor guitar (which he CLAIMS is for Jack…). However, he does think I went a *smidge* overboard with the animal theme. Oops. Maybe our little boy will grow up to be a veterinarian, a boy after his momma’s own heart.
A HUGE thanks to the amazing Kristen Crouch from KRISTEN DEE PHOTOGRAPHY for capturing our little work in progress nursery with these AMAZING photographs — and for capturing a glance into our little family of four, soon to be family of five (AND for putting up with our less than cooperative pups).
Now all we need are some crisp white curtains and a little one. then we’ll be good to go!
Love our beautiful hand painted Little Branches sign made by Jack’s sweet Aunt Becky.
Jack’s future partner in crime.
Jack’s future guard dog.
